Berambang Escapade
Despite being a stone's throw from the city centre,
Berambang is an island unknown even to many locals! It even
feels like a different country, as motorcycles and bicycles are
predominant here, and not cars! A daytrip promises idyllic walks
along countryside roads, a hill trek which presents you with
sweeping vistas, historic disused coal mines, dramatic rock
formations, and a showcase of Brunei's hardy kerangas forests.
The highlight of course, is a 'picnic' at the summit along the
hill trek! Upon descending, head for a fishing village a few
minutes away, on the banks of a river channel which is also the
border with Malaysia. From here, enjoy a relaxing boat ride
through the
mangroves, a diverse habitat for wildlife - you might even spot
some of them along the way back!

Some
Things to Note:
As part of the tour,
guests are expected to assist with carrying up some of the
supplies for the picnic, the weight to be shared out among guests and
guide/s.
Arrangement of visits and photo stops not necessarily in the
order given in the itinerary.
As a tour involving the outdoors, there are many variables which are beyond our control,
such as the weather conditions, and the availability and abundance of
wildlife spotted. We do not guarantee sightings, but do ensure we do our
best by setting tours at times of day which are known to be good times
for sightings, and we also choose areas where sightings are most often
reported.
Duration of tour is calculated beginning from
pre-arranged pick-up time to the pre-arranged drop-off
time, unless otherwise stated.
As a guided tour, timing and duration of visits and stops are
pre-arranged, and any requests, demands or expectation for longer
durations will not be entertained.
Guests requesting pick-up and drop-off from
Jerudong and its vicinity (Empire Hotel) will have tour commencement
half an hour earlier, and end half an hour later.
Reasonable physical fitness levels are required to
complete this tour.

ages 3-11 years only, and applicable for minimum 2
paying adults going.

dates when no one else is going for the same tour. In

Begawan and its vicinity include but are not excluded to
the Terrace, Radisson, Jubilee, Pusat Belia (hostel), KH
Soon (guest house), Brunei, Palm Garden, Kiulap Plaza,
Traders, Grand City, Orchid Garden, Times and other
hotels. Pickup points within close distance of these
hotels may be included, subject to confirmation with us.

confirm your non-hotel location.

Hotels outside of Bandar Seri Begawan and its vicinity
are restricted to those within the Brunei-Muara
District, and include the Empire, Asma, Holiday Lodge,
Jeruton hotels.

HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
Bookings may be made via email, phone or fax, subject to
availability on the given dates and subsequent
confirmation by us. For prompt responses, we recommend
making your booking through our
Online Booking Form on our main website.
Bookings are deemed to be secured only upon receiving
full payment from guests.
HOW DO I MAKE A PAYMENT?
The payments methods available to guests are outlined
below:
Online Bookings (Overseas Guests)
Once the details of tours/services have been finalised,
full payment has to be made immediately in order to
confirm booking. You may choose to pay via:
1. Credit/Debit card OR other acceptable
methods payable via Paypal
Once finalised, and if this is the chosen method of
payment, we will generate an invoice on Paypal for you
to settle in full.
2. Telegraphic Transfer to our Brunei bank
account
All charges are to be borne by guest.
An official receipt will only be issued upon request,
and will be collected at time of tour commencement.
Walk-In Bookings (Brunei-based Guests)
For Brunei-based guests, payment has to be made at our
office during office hours, as soon as practicable after
booking is confirmed by us OR latest 3 days before tour
commencement, whichever is sooner. Alternate arrangements may be discussed
on a case-to-case basis.
Payments may be made by credit/debit card (Mastercard
only), or in cash in Brunei Dollars, or Singapore
Dollars (for the latter, torn notes and S$1 coins will
not be accepted).
An official receipt will be issued upon receipt of full
payment.
